Oblong to Hold Electronics and Appliance Recycling Event

(Oblong) — The Village of Oblong is reminding the public about a chance to get rid of some unwanted electronics and appliances this weekend. Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, says that on Saturday, the Village will host an electronics and appliance recycling event at the OPW Maintenance Building in Oblong Park. She says this event is open to businesses and individuals regardless of where they live and will be held rain or shine from 9 a.m. to noon or until the trailers are full. B & H Recycling will be conducting the recycling event, and there will be a nominal charge for all items.
