High Speed Chase Lands West Union Man Behind Bars

(Undated) — A high-speed chase has landed a West Union man behind bars. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, around 5:50 p.m. Thursday, June 5th, at the request of Sullivan, IN authorities, Crawford County Deputies were dispatched to Hutsonville for a police pursuit coming from Indiana. Deputies deployed spike strips that successfully deflated the tires of the vehicle driven by twenty-eight-year-old Myles Graham. The report indicates that after hitting the spike strip, the vehicle wrecked on Route 1 just South of County Road 2000 North in Hutsonville Township. Following a brief foot pursuit, Graham was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding over 21 MPH, Resisting a Peace Officer, Driving While Driver’s License Suspended, Reckless Driving, Speeding 35 MPH over Legal Limit, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Disobeyed a Traffic Control Device (Stop Sign), and Improper Lane Usage. Graham was transported to the county jail for processing and remains in custody. United Lifecare Ambulance Service, Hutsonville Fire Department, and Rescue all assisted in the incident.
