Unit 4 Board Meets Tonight

(Oblong) — The Oblong Unit 4 School Board will meet tonight for its regular monthly meeting. In “Old Business,” the board will hear reports from various committees, the Academic Foundation, a Summer School report, and discuss and approve the amended 2024-2025 school district budget. In “New Business,” the Unit 4 Board will appoint Tim Potts as Treasurer and approve the purchase of Treasure’s Bonds, approve the transfer of Working Cash Interest to the Education Fund, and authorize the Superintendent to bid milk, bread, and fuel. In other business, they will discuss and approve agreements with the CCHD, IECC, and OPTERRA, as well as departmental budgets and an FBLA trip request. The Oblong Unit 4 Board meets tonight at 6 p.m. in the Oblong Room of the Grade School.
