(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has fallen since Friday. According to GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.12 per gallon, five cents lower than Friday. Here in Illinois, drivers are paying an average of $3.46 a gallon, a three-cent decline. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying a statewide average of $3.05 a gallon, four cents lower than the end of last week. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest statewide average $2.68, a three-cent decline. California drivers are paying the highest at $4.47 a gallon, down a nickel.
