Gas Prices Slip Lower

(Undated) — Gas prices are slightly lower than a week ago. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.15 a gallon, down two cents from a week ago. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.44, down a nickel from last Friday. Across the river in Indiana, drivers are paying an average of $3.21 a gallon, a twelve-cent increase from a week ago. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest statewide average $2.72, a penny higher from a week ago. California drivers are paying the highest at $4.49 a gallon, down three cents.
