Gas Prices Slip Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) — Gas prices fell over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.10 a gallon, down a nickel from Friday. The statewide average here in Illinois is four cents lower than the end of last week, hovering around $3.40 a gallon. Indiana drivers are paying an average of $3.16 a gallon, a nickel lower than Friday. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest statewide average $2.68, four cents lower than a week ago. California drivers are paying the highest at $4.43 a gallon, down six cents.
