Oblong Chamber Now Accepting Names for Town-Wide Garage Sales

(Oblong) – The Oblong Chamber of Commerce is gathering addresses for the Village’s Town-Wide Garage Sales. If you or your family would like to have your address listed on the garage sale map, you are asked to send a private message to the Oblong Chamber of Commerce via their Facebook page or call 618-480-1062. They say the listing does not need to be within the Village limits to appear on the map. Rural Oblong addresses may be added as well. Town Wide Garage Sales are scheduled for Friday, August 8th, and Saturday, August 9th. The Chamber says they will distribute maps to downtown businesses on Thursday, August 7th, so the deadline for listing your sale is Wednesday, August 6th.
