Marathon Continues Emergency Preparedness Drills

(Robinson) — The Marathon Petroleum Robinson Refinery will once again be conducting “emergency preparedness evacuation drills.” According to Marathon, drills will be held today and on August 26th at 5:45 p.m. Next Tuesday, August 19th, drills will be held at 7:00 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. They say that during these drills, the refinery and community warning systems will be activated, and refinery neighbors may see and hear extra activity around the refinery. Announcements accompanying these exercises will clearly state, “This is a drill.”
