Gas Prices Slip Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.10 a gallon, down six cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, drivers are paying an average of $3.39 a gallon, down four cents from the end of the week. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.19, nine cents lower than it was a week ago. Oklahoma drivers are paying the lowest statewide average $2.60, six cents lower than Friday. California drivers are paying the highest at $4.45 a gallon, down four cents from last Friday.
