Oblong Woman Arrested on Aggravated Battery Charges

(Oblong) — The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department is reporting the Thursday “arrest” of an Oblong woman on Aggravated Battery charges. Following an investigation on Wednesday at the 500 block of South Adams Street in Oblong, Ashley Songer turned herself in at the county jail. Songer was processed through the jail and remained in custody awaiting a detainment hearing before being released after her court hearing reference to the Pre-trial Fairness Act, with a future court date.
