(Undated) – The Crawford County Health Department has announced flu shot clinics for both adults and children. The first “Adult Clinic” will be held on Tuesday, September 23rd. The CCHD says appointments are not required for adult shots. However, they are required for kids’ flu shots. You are asked to call 618-544-8798 to schedule appointments. They remind the public that there is a charge for the seasonal flu shot, but Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and several other insurance companies can be billed for flu vaccinations. They ask that recipients have their insurance cards ready to “speed up the process.” They say “High Dose” vaccinations will be available for those 65 years and older. Find the full schedule below.
