NMS Lady Raiders Advance in Postseason Play

(Robinson) — The NMS Lady Raiders improved to 20-1 with a Sectional Championship win yesterday, 4-3 over Cumberland. Avery Ackman pitched seven innings, giving up three runs on ten hits en route to the win. Madi Schaefer won the “Sportsmanship Award.” The Lady Raiders will be back in action Friday when they play 15-1 Kewanee-Wethersfield in a 10 a.m. first pitch.
