(Robinson) — Independent filmmakers, comic book artists, and purveyors of all things “nerdy” will take over the Robinson Civic Center this Saturday. NerdCon is back with more than thirty vendor booths, a Magic The Gathering: Marvel’s Spiderman presale event by Galactic Games and Things out of Olney, a Super Smash Brothers tournament, and a cosplay contest. Special guests include local artist and graphic novel creator Joe Davis, who will be launching his new comic “Echoes of Eternity.” As well as Comic Book creators and artists, Todd Black and Joseph Morris, independent filmmakers from Moonlight Films, and local author Ava Murbarger. Doors open at 10 a.m. There is a $5 admission fee for NerdCon, and food will be available for purchase.
