(Oblong) — The Oblong Fall Follies is coming up next month and the Oblong Chamber continues to look for help. According to Chamber President, Angie Catt, they are seeking groups of family members, clubs or organizations, church groups, or non-profit organizations that might be interested in helping with clean up and making a few dollars. The Chamber needs volunteers to check and clean porta-potties, hand cleaning stations, restrooms at the Oblong Municipal Building and mini park, trash receptacles in the downtown area, and trash around the food trucks area. There are two shifts available, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. until clean up is done. Catt says each time slot group will be paid $400.00. If you are interested, please call Angie Catt at Vault Antiques at 618-480-1062.
