Much Needed Rain is in the Weekend Forecast

(Undated) — It looks like some much-needed rain is in the forecast for the weekend. According to this morning’s “Hazardous Weather Outlook” from the National Weather Service, scattered thunderstorms are possible late this afternoon through tonight. They say periods of scattered thunderstorms are also possible this weekend and through much of the upcoming week. Lightning would be the primary hazard, though the threat of severe weather appears low at this time. Following the front, it appears that we can look forward to cooler temperatures by mid-week with forecasted highs in the seventies.
