Gas Prices Trend Down Slightly

(Undated) – Gas prices continue to trend lower following the recent uptick. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average has fallen three cents from Friday to $3.45 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen to $3.96 a gallon, down three cents from Friday. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is five cents higher than at the end of the week at $3.61. Drivers in Mississippi continue to enjoy the lowest prices in the nation, down two cents from Friday at $2.90 a gallon. California drivers are paying the highest prices at $4.58 a gallon, down two cents from the end of the week.
