(Oblong) – An annual event comes to the Crawford County Fairgrounds this weekend. This year marks the thirty-eighth year of the Oblong Antique Tractor and Engine Show. Friday, August 9th through Sunday, August 11 will bring with it antique tractor pulls, farm toy shows, and pedal tractor pulls. Saturday will also feature an Elvis tribute artist. The weekend will end with a car show on Sunday. In conjunction with the show, Oblong will have town-wide garage sales on Saturday. Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, says as a reminder, due to this being a “special event weekend” inside the Village, registration stickers will not be required for use of your golf cart or side by side on Village roadways.
