(Undated) – Crawford County authorities have lifted the recent burn ban. According to Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, due to the rainfall we have received over the last few days in our area, he, along with fire officials countywide, has decided to lift the recent burn ban at this time throughout Crawford County. However, they advise the public to be cautious in burning, as fires can quickly get out of hand. Here at the Classic Hits studio, we’ve recorded 2.30 inches of rain, the majority of which fell from Tuesday into Wednesday. WTAY/WTYE continues to be an official weather recording and reporting station for the National Weather Service.
