(Undated) – The next CCHD Flu Shot Clinic is set for today. The Crawford County Health Department will hold a drive-thru clinic for adults in the parking lot from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary. They say “High Dose” vaccinations will be available for those 65 years and older. Children’s flu shots will be given inside. They remind the public that appointments are required for children. Please call 618-544-8798 to schedule. The CCHD says adults accompanying children may also receive their flu shot inside at the time of the child’s appointment. They say there is a charge for the seasonal flu shot. However, Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and several other insurance companies can be billed for flu vaccinations.
