Maroons Pick Up Homecoming Win Over Lawrenceville

(Robinson) — The RHS Maroons picked up a 39-19 win over Lawrenceville last night for homecoming. Robinson’s Reese Johnson completed nine of fourteen pass attempts for one-hundred forty seven yards. Miles Hardiman caught eight passes for one hundred fifty-one yards. Johnson also carried the ball fifteen times for one hundred sixty yards. With the win, the Maroons move back to .500 at 3-3 on the season, 2-2 in the LIC. The Maroons will be back in action next Friday for a road game at Newton. Elsewhere, the 2-3 Oblong Panthers will be in action today at 2 p.m. for a road game against Pawnee/Lincolnwood. The Palestine/Hutsonville Pioneers will be in action this evening for a road game at Martinsville. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
