(Undated) — Ameren customers should start to notice a drop in their electric rates as the summer price increase has ended. Citizen’s Utility Board spokesman, Jim Chilsen, says if you switched suppliers, now is the time to switch back.
He says the information about how to contact an alternative supplier should be easy to find, and any legitimate company will change you back to Ameren Illinois, although that process could take a couple of months to show up on your bill. Chilsen says if you find you are dealing with a supplier that is giving you the “runaround,” call CUB at 1-800-669-5556 for assistance.
