(Robinson) — The Robinson City Council meets this evening and they have several items on the agenda. In “Old Business,” they will review a resolution approving a memorandum of agreement between the City of Robinson, Reach Strategies, and Ameren for electric service. In New Business, the City Council will approve the annual donation to Paws for Prevention, discuss and possibly approve paying half of the invoice total for a feasibility study for the new hotel project, and get a CDAP Loan status update. In other business, the City Council will also accept the resignation of Pierre Butler the Third from the Street Department. In a corresponding move, they will approve the hiring of a full-time employee “from the hiring list” for the Street Department. The Robinson City Council meets this evening at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Robinson Civic Center.
