(Undated) — Lincoln Trail College held the groundbreaking for its new Career and Technical Training Center yesterday. During the ceremony, LTC President, Tona Ambrose, praised the students in attendance and said they are why projects like the “Tech Center” are so important.
Ambrose says the $13.4 million Career and Technical Training Center at Lincoln Trail College will serve as a hub for hands-on training in Welding, Process Technology, and Broadband Telecommunications, providing modern, industry-aligned learning spaces where students can develop the skills employers need most. The Illinois Capital Development Board (CDB) will oversee the project in accordance with the protocol for state-appropriated construction projects. The facility is expected to take approximately 18 months to complete.
