Gas Prices Fall for Halloween

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded continues to slip lower. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.04 a gallon, three cents lower than a week ago. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.21 a gallon, six cents lower than last Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying $2.94, nineteen cents lower than a week ago. Oklahoma drivers are paying the lowest statewide average $2.55 a gallon, five cents lower than last Friday. Drivers in California are paying the highest at $4.62 a gallon, three cents higher than last week.
