(Oblong) — The Oblong Village Board meets today and they will swear in a new Trustee. The Village Board is set to swear in Jay Haines to fill the vacant Trustee position. In other business, they are set to hear a request from Nick Hintersher on behalf of Floyd’s Place to extend hours on November 26th, receive an Oblong Chamber update from Angie Catt, and receive an update from Public Works Superintendent, Terry Manhart. The Village Board will also vote on a TIF Grant application, approve a Tax Levy Ordinance, and a Water Rate Ordinance. The Oblong Village Board meets today at 5 p.m. in the Farley Room of the Village Hall.
