(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has fallen over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.05 a gallon, six cents lower than Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.26 a gallon, four cents lower than Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying $3.00 a gallon, nine cents lower. Oklahoma is the “low price leader” nationwide with drivers paying a statewide average of $2.52 a gallon, four cents lower than Friday. Drivers in California are paying the highest at $4.69 a gallon, a penny lower than Friday.
