Gas Prices in Illinois and Indiana Slip Lower

(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has ticked up slightly. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is a penny higher than Monday at $3.46. The statewide average for those of us in Illinois has fallen a nickel from Monday to $3.91 a gallon. Across the river in Indiana, drivers are paying an average of $3.52 a gallon, down nine cents from Monday. Drivers in Mississippi continue to enjoy the lowest prices in the nation, with a statewide average of $2.94 a gallon. California drivers are paying the highest prices at $4.56 a gallon.
