Palestine Kicks Off Christmas this Weekend

(Palestine) — Palestine will kick off the “holiday season” this weekend. The public is invited to visit downtown Palestine for the “Christmas Open House on Main Street.” The Rocking Horse, S.D. Meadows, The Crystal Cellar, Big Daddy’s Drawers, and Homeplate will have special hours and deals this Friday and Saturday. There will also be a Cookie Walk on Saturday at the Fife Opera House at 9 a.m. The Palestine Grade School will also be hosting its “Yuletide Treasure Market” on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to support the PHS Student Benefit Fund. The public is invited to browse vendors, grab delicious bites, and get their photo with Santa. The entry fee for adults is $4, $2 for students, and admission is free for those five years old and under.
