(Oblong) — The Oblong Chamber of Commerce has announced the line-up for “Merry Hometown Christmas.” Oblong Chamber President, Angie Catt, says the public is invited to jump on the Smith Farm train for a tour of lights at Oblong Park and visit Santa on the Mini Park Stage. She says Oblong Grade School’s 8th Grade Class will be selling hot cocoa and the Oblong FCCLA will be selling S’more kits at the South Range Mini Park. Stop by the new firehouse to see a reindeer and enjoy a chili fundraiser for the food pantry. Catt says don’t forget to enjoy the “dazzling” Christmas display at the park, where the Saddle Club will be offering pony rides. The “Merry Hometown Christmas” celebration is set for Friday, December 5th, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
