(Robinson) — The Robinson City Council meets this evening. Under “Old Business,” they will review a resolution approving a memorandum of agreement between the City of Robinson, Reach Strategies, and Ameren Illinois. In “New Business,” they are set to review a tax levy ordinance, a resolution to abate the Tax Levy for 2025 General Obligation Refunding and Sewerage Bonds, and an ordinance adopting a temporary memorandum for the acceptance of applications, permitting, and permit approval for solar farms within the “corporate and extraterritorial” limits of the City. Lastly, they will also authorize the City Engineer to negotiate electricity rates. The Robinson City Council meets this evening at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Robinson Civic Center.
