Vandalism at Oblong Park Under Investigation

(Oblong) — Oblong authorities continue to investigate recent vandalism at Oblong Park. According to Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, the restrooms on the north side of Oblong Lake will be closed for the remainder of the winter after someone chose to smash the toilet. Fielder says Oblong Public Works was keeping the facilities open for walkers during the winter due to the restrooms at the shower house being locked for winterizing. The Oblong Police Department is continuing to investigate.
