The Robinson Police Department teamed up with the Illinois Department of Transportation and law enforcement agencies statewide for the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over,” “Drive High, Get a DUI,” and “Click It or Ticket” campaigns. According to Robinson Police Chief, Eric Schmidt, officers helped to make it a safer holiday season with two impaired driving arrests and ten other citations for speeding, distracted driving, and other traffic offenses. Additional enforcement taken during this period included two drug arrests, one fugitive apprehension, one illegal transportation of alcohol citation, and one unlawful possession of a firearm seizure.
