Oblong Unit 4 Board Meets Tonight

(Oblong) — The Oblong Unit 4 Board meets this evening. In “Old Business,” they will hear an Academic Foundation Report and discuss and approve the amended 2025-2026 Calendar. In “New Business,” they are set to approve the “Budget Calendar,” review, discuss, and approve the destruction of Closed Session recordings, set 2025-2026 graduation dates, and present school calendar options for 2026-2027. In other business, the board will discuss and take action on the High School Music Department request to attend the All-State Music Conference in Peoria and the FFA requests to attend the Ground Zero Leadership Conference in Springfield and the 2026 Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, Ky. The Oblong Unit 4 Board will meet tonight at 6 p.m. in the Oblong Room of the Grade School.
