(Undated) — Winter weather has returned to Illinois, and it appears it’s going to stick around. Freese-Notis Weather Meteorologist, Paul Otto, said we are in for a stretch of cold air, “measurable snow,” and maybe even some ice. Otto says he is looking at two separate systems. The first of which will hit on the 23rd and could bring “measurable snow.”
Otto says the second system is likely to bring a mixed bag of precipitation.
Otto says following the 12-day stretch of winter conditions, normal to above normal temperatures will return for the end of the month.
