Village of Oblong Announces a Couple of Important Dates

(Oblong) – The Village of Oblong is reminding the public about a couple of important dates next week. According to Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, the Oblong Food Pantry will be distributing free food boxes on Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Central United Methodist Church at 112 N. Range Street in Oblong. She is also reminding the public that the Red Cross will be at the Oblong Municipal Building on Tuesday for a blood drive from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Blood supplies are at a dangerously low level and all eligible donors are asked to donate.
