Gas Prices Fell Over the Weekend

(Undated) — The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current national average is $2.84 per gallon, three cents lower than on Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $2.90, down two cents from Friday. Across the Wabash in Indiana, drivers are paying an average of $2.72 a gallon, five cents lower than the end of last week. Oklahoma drivers continue to enjoy the lowest prices nationwide, with a statewide average of $2.33 per gallon, down four cents from Friday. Drivers in California are paying the highest at $4.27 a gallon, two cents higher than on Friday.
