(Undated) — The Crawford County State’s Attorney is praising law enforcement following the sentencing of a local drug dealer. According to Crawford County State’s Attorney, Cole Shaner, during a January 16th court appearance, John Miller was sentenced to eighteen years on the Class X Felony charge of Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the prosecution of this case. Shaner praised the work of law enforcement. In a statement, Shaner said, “The actions of Mr. Miller put multiple people in this community in danger, including civilians and deputies, based on the amount and variety of drugs he had at his residence.” He said he hopes this sentence will show others that drug dealers are not welcome and will be dealt with appropriately.
