(Undated) – The Crawford County Health Department is celebrating “American Heart Month.” According to the American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative, “Go Red for Women,” women are less likely to receive CPR from a bystander. They are reminding the public that they are often the first responder in a cardiac emergency. Anyone can be the difference before professional help arrives, and this starts with knowing CPR. To celebrate “American Heart Month,” the CCHD will be offering CPR Classes. The first of which is Wednesday, February 18th. The cost of the class is $25. To register or for more information, visit the CCHD on Facebook.
