Maroons Season Comes to an End

(Robinson) — The RHS Maroons season came to an end last night with a 49-41 loss to Mt. Carmel in the Regional Quarterfinals. With the win, Mt. Carmel advances to face Teutopolis tomorrow evening in game one of a doubleheader in the Regional Semifinal. Elsewhere last night, the OPH Wildcats fell to Newton by a final of 55-38. With the win, Newton advances to face Salem in the Regional Semifinal. Both Semifinal games, as well as the Regional Championship, will be played at Robinson High School. You’ll be able to hear all three of those games from RHS here on 101.7 WTYE and WTYEfm.com. Our coverage is set to begin tomorrow at 5:45 p.m. with our pregame ahead of the T-Town/Mt. Carmel contest, which tips off at 6 p.m. The Salem/Newton game will tipoff at around 7:30 p.m. The Championship game will tipoff Friday at 7 p.m.
