Boil Order Continues for Portion of Oblong

(Oblong) — A portion of Oblong remains under a “Precautionary Boil Order.” According to the Village of Oblong, water was restored to all residences south of the railroad tracks at around 4 p.m. yesterday. Customers in the area are encouraged to boil any water for human consumption, including for cooking and drinking. Oblong Public Works says water samples will be collected today and delivered to the lab. The Village expects to hear from the lab tomorrow. Stay tuned for further updates.
