CCHD Needs Donations for its Cancer Comfort Bags

(Undated) – The Crawford County Health Department is seeking donations for its “Cancer Comfort Bags.” The “Cancer Comfort Bag” program, established in 2022, provides a tote bag filled with comfort items and essentials to Crawford County residents battling cancer. The CCHD says that while they promote, organize, and distribute the bags, this program is 100% donation-based, with all bags, blankets, comfort items, and gift cards donated by residents, local businesses, and CCHD employees through fundraisers. They say they are running low on several items, a list of which can be found on their Amazon Wishlist. They say any donations will be greatly appreciated.
