Gas Prices Continue to Climb

(Undated) — Gas prices continue to move in the wrong direction. The national average for a gallon of regular has climbed to $3.86, according to GasBuddy.com. That’s up from six cents from yesterday. A week ago, the national average was right around $3.60 a gallon. In California, where prices are the highest in the country, drivers are paying $5.55 a gallon on average. Washington state and Hawaii now also have statewide averages above five dollars. Drivers in Kansas are paying the lowest prices with a statewide average of $3.24 a gallon.
