Wildcats Get Rolled by the Eagles

(Undated) — The Newton Eagle put up six runs in the third en route to a lopsided 11-2 win over the OPH Wildcats yesterday. OHP starting pitcher, Caden Goodwin, surrendered three hits and eight runs over two innings of work, striking out two and walking seven. Jude Wirey pitched four innings in relief for OPH, giving up six hits and three runs while striking out three and walking one. With the loss, OPH falls to 0-4 on the season. They will be back in action today for a 4:30 p.m. first pitch when they host the Lawrenceville Indians.
