Lady Maroons Late Rally Falls Short

(Robinson) — A late rally fell short for the RHS Lady Maroons yesterday, as they fell 5-4 to West Vigo Lady Vikings. Avery Strauch went 1-for-2 at the plate and led the team with two runs batted in. Avah Myers took the loss for RHS, pitching all six innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, striking out six, and walking one. With the loss, the Lady Maroons fall to 4-2 on the season. They are set to be back in action Tuesday when they host Marshall. The RHS Boys will be back on the diamond today for a road contest at Sullivan, IL.
