Ms. Paula Kathryn (Collins) Sparks, 60, of Robinson, Illinois, passed away on March 29, 2026, in Robinson, Illinois, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Paula was born on August 28, 1965, in Robinson, Illinois, and spent much of her life rooted in the community she called home. She was the beloved daughter of Mr. Paul E. Collins Sr., and Mary Kathryn (Dunlap) Collins and she grew up surrounded by the love of family and the values that would guide her throughout her life. Paula was a proud graduate of Robinson High School, Class of 1983.
Family was at the center of Paula’s life. She is survived by her son, Kyle (Grace) Sparks, and by her cherished grandchildren, Sophia and Charlotte Sparks. Paula also leaves behind her father, Paul E. Collins, Sr.; brothers, Paul E. (Mary) Collins, Jr, and Michael (Stacey) Collins, Nieces Alyson, Makayla, Madison, Zoe, Chelsey, Nephews Dusty, Eli, and Cousins. Her family will remember her as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter and aunt whose presence brought comfort, laughter, smiles, and strength.
Paula was a Christian and lived her faith quietly and faithfully. Those who knew her will remember her as steady, compassionate, and genuine. She had a way of making others feel seen and valued, and she carried herself with quiet dignity. Paula lived deeply, loving her family fiercely and the loss of her daughter Breana in 2014 forever changed Paula and tied her more closely to Heaven and her mother, Mary Kathryn Collins, who passed in 2012.
Her passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. The love she gave, the example she set, and the moments she shared with family and friends will remain a lasting source of comfort. Paula’s life was a testament to faith, love, and perseverance, and she will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
A visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson, IL, from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor J. D. Branson officiating. Interment will follow funeral services in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Palestine, IL.
