Republic Spring Clean Up is Just Around the Corner

(Undated) — Spring Clean Up is just around the corner. The Village of Oblong is reminding residents that Republic Services Spring Clean-Up Day in the Village is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14th, in the Village of Oblong. In Robinson the City’s yard waste Spring Clean-up will run April 27th-May 1st, and the Republic Spring Clean-up will be May 4th-8th. Customers are reminded that items set out in paper bags or deteriorating cardboard boxes will not be picked up. Mattresses must be wrapped in plastic or in a plastic cover. Carpet must be cut in 4 foot rolls and tied or taped. Furniture and toys are acceptable for pickup. However, no electronics, appliances, vehicle parts or batteries, propane tanks, pianos, concrete, or liquid paint/flammable materials will be accepted.
