Rev. Tom Akers, 83, of Robinson, IL, passed away on April 2, 2026, at Brickyard Healthcare in Indianapolis, IN.
A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 9th, at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The Goodwine Funeral Home in Robinson is assisting the family at this time, and a full obituary will be posted soon.
