Lady Statesmen Take Both Games of a Doubleheader

(Undated) — The LTC Lady Statesmen made it a clean sweep in a Tuesday doubleheader. In game one, Lincoln Trail College picked up a 1-0 win over SWIC. Lily Hickman shut down SWIC, throwing a complete game shutout, allowing just two hits and walking two while striking out eight. In game two, LTC rolled to a 7-1 win over Southwestern Illinois College. Kaitlyn Kendall surrendered five hits and one run over seven innings, striking out two and walking one in the win. LTC improves to 14-21 on the season.
