(Undated) — The Lincoln Trail Lady Statesmen swept Shawnee Community College yesterday in a pair of shutouts. In game one, LTC picked up all eleven runs in the fourth inning, cruising to an 11-0 win. Lily Hickman pitched all five innings for the Lady Statesmen, striking out six and giving up just one hit. In game two, Elahna Perry collected three hits in four at-bats, including a triple in the sixth inning en route to the 6-0 shutout victory. Kaitlyn Kendall threw seven innings, giving up five hits, walking two, and striking out seven. The Lady Statesmen improve to 16-21 on the season. They are set to be back in action tomorrow afternoon when they host Olney Central.
