RHS Maroons Win in Walk Off Friday

(Robinson) — It came down to the wire on Friday, but the RHS Maroons picked up a 5-4 walk off win over the Cumberland Pirates. The game was tied at four in the bottom of the seventh when Reese Johnson hit a solo home run to left field for the win. Issa Hardiman earned the win out of the bullpen for the Maroons, giving up three hits and three runs over one inning, striking out two and walking one. With the win, the Maroons climb back to .500 on the season at 6-6. They are set to be back in action this afternoon when they host the Marshall Lions.
